About Aron

I'm Aron, a photographer based in Iceland, where I've lived my whole life.

I picked up a camera in my teens, mostly as an excuse to be out in weather nobody else wanted to drive into. That hasn't really changed. Some of my best shots have come from getting up before sunrise, sitting in the car waiting for a storm to pass, or hiking back to the same spot a third time because the light still wasn't right.

Every print in this shop is one I've stood in front of myself , the coastlines, the glaciers, the northern lights, and the quieter corners of the country most people drive straight past. Each one is signed and numbered by hand before it ships.
